During my tenure at Athabasca University, this project was of great significance to me due to its scale and impact. The initiative involved the creation of five new faculty sites, which were designed to consolidate and replace content from over 30 existing sites. This consolidation was not only a technical challenge but also a strategic move to streamline information and improve accessibility for users. In addition to my responsibilities in web development, I played a crucial role in the meticulous process of editing and proofreading. This involved reviewing both the existing content that needed to be migrated and the new content that was being developed, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and clarity throughout the project. My involvement required a deep understanding of the university's academic and administrative needs, as well as a commitment to enhancing the user experience for students, faculty, and staff.
The site was developed using Cascade CMS, a popular content management system among post-secondary institutions.
