I embarked on the project of creating this website specifically for my daughter’s daycare located in Kamloops. The need for a new site arose because, in the past, the website was under the management of the TRU Marketing & Communications department. However, the daycare staff expressed a desire for a platform that they could easily navigate and manage on their own, without needing to rely on external assistance. They wanted a user-friendly interface that would empower them to update information, post announcements, and engage with parents more effectively. This led to the development of a site tailored to their specific needs, ensuring that the staff felt confident and comfortable in handling the website independently.
This site is a very basic child theme of the interesting Twenty Twentyone theme. The playful and minimal design language of that theme was something that I thought would work well for a daycare.
