Introduction
I was part of a dedicated and talented small team at Athabasca University that collaborated closely to completely redesign and restructure the information architecture of the Research Office site. Our goal was to create a more intuitive and user-friendly experience for visitors. We meticulously analyzed the existing site structure, identified areas for improvement, and implemented strategic changes to enhance navigation and accessibility. Additionally, we focused on optimizing the user experience (UX) by incorporating feedback from users, conducting usability tests, and ensuring that the site met the diverse needs of its audience. Through our collective efforts, we aimed to provide a seamless and engaging online environment that would facilitate easier access to research resources and information.
